Cam Peter is Director of Software Development at PeaceGeeks. Over the past two decades, Cam has built and scaled software platforms across gaming, mobility, and SaaS, including senior roles at Electronic Arts and Miovision. He loves working at the crossroads of technical challenge and real change, and has a knack for helping teams turn hard problems into clean, scalable solutions.
At PeaceGeeks, Cam channels that expertise toward something that matters close to home: building digital tools that help newcomers navigate one of the most significant transitions of their lives. He is drawn to the intersection of technology and social impact, and believes that well-crafted software can be a genuine force for belonging.
When he's not architecting systems or mentoring engineers, you'll find Cam somewhere outside on a bike, a trail, or a boat.
Cam's mom was born and raised in England but left to travel the world, and met his dad (who's from Stratford, Ontario) in Singapore. They lived in Australia for years before deciding to settle in Ontario, where the winters and "general orderliness" (mom's words) are still uncomfortable decades later. Cam's wife migrated from the US and their family has also traveled extensively and lived outside of Canada, nurturing a deep appreciation for both the incredible variety on offer in the world and the great value of a stable home.
