Lo’Ai is a Senior Manager of the U.S. business tax practice at Rise CPA. Lo’Ai has extensive experience in income tax compliance for small to large businesses. Lo’Ai started his career with Ernst & Young in the Toronto office in 2013 as a tax staff where he received multiple awards of excellence. He worked in the International Tax and Transaction Services team focusing on the US tax compliance for Corporations and Partnerships. Lo’Ai also worked at a financial services company in Toronto as their in-house US tax manager. He specializes in preparing US tax returns and providing tax advice for corporations and partnerships.

In the past, he volunteered at a fundraising event, and with the CRA to help file taxes for university students. Lo'Ai is drawn to PeaceGeeks due to their effort on building amazing products to support new arrivals to Canada. In particular, helping communities and refugees and providing them with all the necessary support and information.

Outside of the office, Lo'Ai enjoy traveling, swimming, hiking, and soccer
